Refund Policy

Thank you for using BusConnect for your transit card recharge needs. We are committed to providing reliable and efficient service to all our customers. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for transactions made through our platform.

Transit Card Recharges

Due to the immediate nature of our transit card recharge service, all successful recharge transactions are considered final and non-refundable. Once the funds have been added to your transit card, we cannot reverse the transaction as the credit is immediately available for use.

Failed Transactions

In the event of a failed transaction where your payment was processed but your transit card was not recharged, we will:

  • Automatically initiate a refund to your original payment method within 1-3 business days
  • Send you an email notification regarding the failed transaction and refund status
  • Provide a reference number for tracking purposes

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider's policies.

Duplicate Transactions

If you have been charged multiple times for the same recharge transaction, please contact our customer support team immediately with the following information:

  • Your registered email address
  • Date and time of the transactions
  • Transaction reference numbers
  • Amount charged

We will investigate the issue and process a refund for any duplicate charges within 3-5 business days of verification.

Premium Membership Cancellations

For our Premium Membership subscription:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Monthly subscriptions: No prorated refunds are provided for the current billing period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Annual subscriptions: Prorated refunds may be issued for the unused portion if cancelled within 30 days of the renewal date.
  • New subscriptions: Full refund if cancelled within 7 days of initial purchase.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction. We do not provide refunds through alternative payment methods unless the original payment method is no longer available.

Service Fees

Please note that service fees associated with transactions are non-refundable, even in cases where a refund for the recharge amount is approved.

Exceptions

We may consider exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis in extraordinary circumstances. Please contact our customer support team with detailed information about your situation for review.
